TO DO A H A N D S T A N D : You have to have your hands shoulder-width apart  It is actually better to do it with no shoes.  try to do it on a wall first and then you can go on grass.    This is an example

We balance every day. We balance up right. To balance well we use our skill's. Where our arm's are it effects our balance.  If we had no arm's or balance we would fall down all the time.   We focus on the spot just in front of us. When I'm on a ledge if I wobble I put my arm's out In conclusion, where our arm's and legs and arm's are is pretty important.

We are learning to add toolkit labels.

This is my book that I got out from the library. It is called RAIN-FORESTS. I think it is a good book to get out because it shows a lot about animals and forests.

Once there was a pouri that surrounded nga mea katoa . The 7 children of Papatuanuku and Ranginui , argued about who kia tika wehe their Mother and Father . They decided that Tane Mahuta kia tika their mother and father. Tane separated them and all were happy. Now till this day Papatuanuku and Ranginui are still separated .

I wonder if the outside of the building will be Green? I wonder if we will see Zari's auntie? I wonder if James' dad will be coming? I wonder if they mean of Green, having water savers, no rubbish around, etc? I wonder how long it will take? I wonder if we will have some food? I wonder how much art is in the building? I wonder if they have Maori art? I wonder if they have statues? I wonder if they have books of art? I wonder if they will have buildings made of art? What is it. ?? Is it alive. ?? I gasp. It's a cat. I get down on my knees to pick it up.   I could smell smoke. I could here my boots on the floor. I go outside I lift up the side door and get out the life saving kit.                 

My cross-country goal is to keep up with a fast person.

Today some people from our class got to go to a famous writer called Des Hunt  workshop. He showed us some chemistry. Here are some ideas of what he did, He sowed us how an eel keeps growing like balloon . He also showed as some water, but he made it change it's color  .

In my opinion I would choose to wake up as  ...   2 1 One reason is because I would be as old as my cousin Elisa and be able to live by my self with lots of pets. Another reason is I would nearly be as old as my mum and probably taller than her. The 3rd reason is I would of finished school and I wouldn't have to do cross-country any more YAY.  The 4th reason is I could   get my d r e a m job being a zoo keeper  working with the birds. In conclusion I would like to wake up and be 21. My reflection was I thought about how old I would be. I used the orange toolkit - participate and contribute.

I'm Isla, and I'm in room 10. My teacher is Georgia Cox-Wright, the  teacher aide is Gin. I live with my mum, dad and little brother. My pets are 2 fish named Bob and Zeb, and a chicken named Jethro.

This is my genius hour reflection

Reflection: I learnt where the stars of matariki are. I used the yellow toolkit ( literati )

At strike I saw a mega drums on stilts and drums on the ground. I saw a mega  marimba aka rain forest instrument 

In my holiday I went to the zoo with my granny, and my little brother. We saw blue and yellow macaws,scarlet macaws,blood neck birds,tigers,cheetahs, Before we went home Granny let Remy and me buy something. I chose a toy kiwi that hatches out of an egg.Remy chose a rolling stamp and a tiger pen. A few days later Remy and me had to go to our nana and pops,when we were there we got to go to a toy shop. and a clothes shop.
